Private journeys
Honeymoons, milestone birthdays, three generations together, and first times somewhere hard to reach. Tailor-made from a blank page, never from a package.
இடம்
We know a place.
From the monasteries of Bhutan to the sea ice of Antarctica, we plan every part of your journey: the house, the flights, the guides, the table and every transfer between them.
By introduction.
The office
The people behind IDAM have spent more than fifteen years in travel, working with the hotels, guides and tourism boards that make journeys possible.
Over those years we noticed that the best journeys rarely start with a booking. They start with someone who knows you: who remembers which of you rises for the sunrise and who would rather sleep through it, that the anniversary falls on the third night, and which room has the view worth waking for.
IDAM is that office.
One team that knows you.
Your food. Your pace. The room you would rather have.
One written plan.
The thinking behind every choice, in writing. Never a brochure of options.
With you the whole way.
One number for the entire journey. Not only in office hours.
Nothing booked that we would not book for ourselves.
The simplest rule we have. And the one we keep.
The only thing left is to arrive.
What we take care of
Honeymoons, milestone birthdays, three generations together, and first times somewhere hard to reach. Tailor-made from a blank page, never from a package.
A villa, a safari lodge or a small hotel, taken over completely. No other guests in the building.
When the journey calls for a private aircraft, a helicopter or a yacht, we arrange it through the right people.
An archive opened for a morning. A chef’s counter kept for your table. Never promised until it is confirmed.
Vegan, kosher, halal or Jain, at sea or at altitude. A slow morning for some, an early start for others, and a doctor where altitude calls for it.
Visas, permits, insurance and currency. Handled, and checked twice.
Places
A few we know well. Every journey we plan begins with a blank page.
The Golden Eagle Festival in the Altai, then quiet days with a Kazakh family.
A gorilla family, deep in the Bwindi forest.
Red dunes, the Skeleton Coast and desert elephants, linked by small private aircraft.

Between us
Most people come to us through a personal introduction. The journeys we plan, and the people we plan them for, stay private.
The company we keep
A hotelier who saves the best room for you. A guide who knows which path is quiet at dawn. A chef who sets the table where the view is.
You will meet them along the way.
